The Care Ministry supports Crossroads’ families by:

Providing Support.

Providing help for families going through a life event that causes the need for extra support. Offering prayer and encouragement in the form of a call, visit, meal, card, or financial assistance.
Providing Connections.

Providing connections to support groups such as DivorceCare, AA, Families in Recovery, or Post Adoption Support group.
Providing Resources.

Partners with groups for additional assistance when needed. For example, groups like Helping Hands ministry assist with home repairs and/or wheelchair ramps.

MEET THE CARE STAFF

Are you struggling with a marital separation and/or divorce? DivorceCare is a safe place - a support group that offers encouragement and direction through God's Word. Each session (13 weeks) covers a specific topic related to what you are walking through. We will watch a DVD and discuss top related questions (w/ workbook). Our facilitators have been where you are and are here to help. Our hope is that you experience peace, comfort and healing within this group.

Families in Recovery is a safe place for both individuals in addiction recovery and their family members to find strength and freedom.
The group seeks to promote open sharing and discussion, creating a space where group members can encourage, ask questions, and increase in strength. We believe that families recover better together.

Griefshare is a support group that meets to offer assistance as you walk through your journey of grief. It is a place where healing and hope can be found, and help you move toward rebuilding your life after the loss of a loved one.

Stephen Ministry is a system through which members of Crossroads are trained and organized to help provide one-on-one christian caregiving to members of our congregation and community. It is a way people with special gifts for caring can use those gifts to bring Christ's love to people in need. Refer a friend, neighbor, coworker, relative, or anyone else you know who is going through a difficult season so that they can receive special care when they need it most. You are not alone!
No matter what you may be facing, whether it's a sadness, divorce, grief, a terminal illness, job loss, relocation, an empty nest, retirement, hospitalization or even loneliness, Stephen Ministry is here for you. This FREE ministry will partner you with a highly trained Stephen Minister who will meet you with care, compassion and help you get on the path God has for you. Contact 833.307.2273 for care.
